Shane Watts is back on the gas in 2010!

View the following video to see Wattsy back in action following his recent injury and surgery to fuse together 6 vertebrae (T3-T8) in his spine, as he prepares for another year of racing and conducting his hugely popular DirtWise Academy of Offroad Riding schools, that are conducted nationwide.

http://www.youtube.com/user/DirtWiseRidingSchool - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zTQbE3PZG4

We have also just launched our new DirtWiseRidingSchool channel on YouTube.com, and now you will be able to find heaps of sweet videos to view.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0TosDcGVZU

We also want to announce the winner of the “Full Factory ride for a day with Shane Watts” competition and it is - - -Dave Dunnuck of Indiana. Dave was actually entered, without his knowledge, by one of his mates in the hope of trying to reward Dave for the tireless, behind the scenes work he does for their local club.

We are now stoked to announce that due to the overwhelming response to this competition we will be continuing this “Full Factory Ride” competition for the remaining events of National Enduro Series that I will be attending…… and we are planning on getting a second KTM machine so as there can be TWO winners for each event. How awesome is that!!! Everyone who entered the competition for this first event will be automatically entered to win the “Full Factory Ride” at these upcoming National Enduro events; Greensboro, GA – Feb 21, West Point, TN – Apr18, Park Hills, MO – May 16, Upton, WY – June 20, and Upland, IN – Oct 2. The same rules of entry will apply as with the first event

We wish everyone an awesome year of roosting and hopefully we’ll get to see you out on the trails soon!

Cheers,
Wattsy

Race in Poland. #1 winner is a notoil rider...

On the 20th of September we co-organized a motocross event called Baltic Cup. There were over 70 riders from all over the country who took part in the race. Our firm, as a co-organisator, has sponsored several local riders. One of our riders won the first prize in the amateur class. For the leaders in each class we have founded no-toil three packs. You can see me (wearing blue and yellow no-toil hat) handing them at the attatched photos!

Brian and Elizabeth Smith fotoshopped their foto to make it look like they attended the U2 concert... nice try! We can tell it's totally fake.

Paul Smith can fly...REALLY!

With the summer season kickin into high gear things are starting to get busy again... I had a blast jumping on memorial day weekend down in Tampa, Florida. And finally got a good pic in the local new paper . Usually the paper photographers don't have much experience with fmx, and end up snapping the pic too early, when you are in a crouch position getting ready to trick, or late when you have already got one wheel on the landing.

97x, the local rock station, puts on a music festival on the pier just south of Tampa. With all the rain we have been having in Florida I was pumped that it held off for the day and the event was awesome. Killer bands (including The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) great food and an incredible crowd made the 5 shows we did on Saturday go by before we knew it was over.

As i mentioned the rain just doesn't want to stop here in florida, and i have been lucky to get 2 days of practice in before heading to canada for a show at an arenacross in Newfoundland ... a great place to visit, home of Newfie Screech (crazy whiskey, famous in canada) and one of the few places with a 1/2 hour time difference. If the hockey game starts at 9 on the mainland its at 9:30 in Newfoundland. And i just got word from the promoter that they had 2 inches of snow last week ?

Great to be heading back to canada for a bit and im looking forward to seeing all the guys i used to race with before i got into fmx. Have a good weekend and keep your stick on the ice !

Aaron Larkin wins last round of 2008 Water Ski Pro Tour:

The owner's son of our favorite and best distributor in New Zealand won the last round of the Pro Waterski Tour. Aaron Larkin, a No-Toil support skier, uses a special design filter in the tip of the ski that helps him to crank the gnarly turns around the buoys while keeping pond scum from fouling the muffler bearings inside of the flux capacitor of his double wrap boot system.

Congrats Aaron!

24 Hr. Race:

Here are some highlights from the 24 Hour race in Maplesville, AL (June 7-8).  Louwrens Mahoney from South Africa started for our team, Elmer's Team #2.  He rode with us last year and came back this year along with Kenneth Gilbert also from South Africa.  Bryan Hinson, Steward Baylor and Vance Earl, all from South Carolina.  At the last minute we picked up Kailub Russell from Ohio to fill in for Trey Wellborn, who couldn't be with us this year due to a new baby.

We got dead last off the start because the bike didn't start.  This was only the beginning, we had a strong team and weren't worried, besides we had 24 hours to go.  Louwrens made up some time and came in 5th on the first lap.  He stayed out for 2 laps then Kenny Gilbert took over.  Then it was Vance's turn, he came in unexpectedly on the first lap yelling about being on fire, stripping off his gear.  Kailub jumped on and took off.   While trying to figure out the gas problem and how it got on Vance, Kailub comes in with the same problem.  While examining the bike we found a hole in the tank.  Each time the guys pushed in with their knees, gas would come out.  This led to a gas tank exchange, and of course it was from a dry brake to a regular tank, meaning slower pit stops.  Every time the guys came in the pits we were losing time.  They couldn't run two laps for all the trouble.

Finally, we got up to 3rd place and felt good.  We were behind the factory Yamaha and KTM teams, but more trouble and more time in the pits left us farther behind. Amazingly after the bad start, gas tank, flat tire, brake problems, bark busters, headlights, and an injured rider we still finished 4th Overall, which was great considering all the trouble we had.  Not to mention the competition of the factory teams.

It was also a learning experience for next year.  We came in on a new bike, no suspension set up for the team, no seat time for the riders and a group of privateers who love to race.  Next year we will be a little more polished and a lot more determined.

Meet Michal Maciejewski, the first ever Distributor in Poland!:

Have you ever raced the Baltic Sea? Well these motorcycle club guys blow dirt all over each other "European style". Mike has been one of the most energentic riders and proponents of the No-Toil mantra since a long time coming (he's the one in the white sunglasses. If you ever get out that way, make sure you buy plenty of No-Toil and say "Hi" from us.

The Biggest No-Toil Distributor in Austrailia Just Got Bigger:

After seeing the exponential growth of No-Toil in the "Land Down Under", one of the greatest distributors of this fine continent was forced to relocate to this massive new facility just to handle all the orders that have been flooding in.

The other location options they considered: Taj Mahal, Wembley Stadium or SkyLab.

Mike Sigety's Mid Year National Enduro Race Report - Good and Bad News:

GOOD NEWS is I am leading the national A Vet class again...The series attendance is growing every year and I am having fun!
BAD NEWS is that I broke my foot about 2 weeks ago and a wire had to be inserted to keep things in alignment but I am getting better every day and I will not miss the next national.

(GOOD NEWS is the x-ray photo of the broken foot has nothing to do with Micheal Sigety's new baby!)

Tom Clark Motorsports' Angel Atwell takes Win #3 at Loretta Lynn's:

Round 5 of the GNCC Series proved to be an exciting weekend for Team Tom Clark Motorsports at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricaine Mills, TN. An overall win in the morning race from Angel Atwell, the holeshot and a hard fought battle from XC2 racer Josh Kirkland, and Jamie Bithell still maintaining the points lead in College B were the highlights of the day. Angel's day began with a rough start, leaving her dead last going in to the woods at the start. Not one to let a bad start slow her down, by the end of the first lap she had moved up to second place. Shortly thereafter, Angel took the lead, and never looked back. With over a minute lead, she secured her third overall win of the season. Sitting just three points shy of first place, she's well within striking distance of the points lead.

Mike Sigety has what it takes to go all the way:

Mike Sigety is one of the longest sponsored riders at No-Toil. "We know a good thing when we got it", says The No-Toil Guy.

No-Toil opens new distribution in Iceland:

Hi Scott

Hope you are doing great.

Just wanted to keep you posted on some of the great things that are taking place in Iceland.

1) A few pics of the shop: http://www.itn.is/~kgm/store.html These pics dont show but once you are at the counter, No-Toil is loaded in the shelves.

2) I went to the Yamaha importer this morning and took a 9 month old dirty No-Toil treated air filter. The guys in the shop and the spare parts sales guys huddled around me as I demostrated and showed how well the cleaning process works, they were amazed! Then I told them a little about the oil (evaporates in 15 min) and taught them. Of course I told them what a great product it was and even if I wasnt selling it, I would still talk as nicely about it.

3) I had done the same for the team Yamaha manager couple of weeks ago and he was amazed. So we are now sponsoring them (actually, you are). thanks for sending those 2 cases extra with the shipment.

4) Seeing the No-Toil stickers is happening more and more often: http://www.motosport.is/index.php?option=com_zoom&Itemid=49&page=view&catid=16&key=64&hit=1

5) And finally, Sóley made this flash ad: http://www.itn.is/~kgm (lower in the page). We have the top driver in 85cc womens, 125cc womens. One or more of the top 4 in 250/450cc, 85cc boys and 125/250cc men so we are pretty much covering all our bases :)

Thanks again for all your support, just wanted to keep you posted on this front.

Kær Kveðja,
Kristján Geir Mathiesen
